For our final project in CS 50: Introduction to Computer Science, two peers and I built a web app where Harvard students could keep track of their food budget and see fun stats about their eating habits such as what restaurant they frequent the most and the most popular restaurants across all users. While the purpose of this project was to test and develop our technical skills, we used product and UX ideas to consider what features to implement and how to design a user-friendly interface.
THE PROBLEM
Harvard Square offers Harvard students a wide variety of restaurants to eat at. Coupled with constantly eating dining hall food and wanting to eat out with friends, students struggle with overspending on food.
HOW CAN HARVARD STUDENTS BALANCE EATING OUT WHILE STAYING WITHIN THEIR PERSONAL FOOD BUDGETS?
